Abstract

Innovation, competitiveness, and stability must be assessed for new open banking systems. The ABM research investigates open banking sandbox innovation dynamics. This research simulates new bank, fintech, consumer, and regulator sandbox behaviors. Research policy impacts on innovation diffusion, operational risk, and systemic resilience using UK and EU regulatory framework computer models. ABM describes how sandbox rules impact collaborative creativity and market equilibrium using non-linear agent interactions and feedback loops, unlike analytical or econometric methods. Adaptable sandboxes motivate and prevent infection. Sandbox governance and open banking innovation use data.
